What do you want to be when you grow up? A builder, a farmer, a mechanic or a teacher? There are so many different occupations! I only picked seven to write about.
The Bible says, “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men” (Colossians 3:23).
So, it doesn’t matter so much what we do, but who we do it for. Whatever we do, God wants us to do it with all our hearts for Him.
Every occupation teaches us something about God if we look hard enough. They all teach us important lesssons. Jesus even used some occupations as object lessons. Think of the wise and foolish builders, the Good Shepherd, the Sower, the rich farmer, fishermen, and so on.
There are many exciting and neat stories in this book. As far as I know, they are all true. But I can’t guarantee if they are or not.
I have added in prayers. It is good to go a step further than reading and make what you read into a prayer for your own life. While you can pray in your own words, my prayers are to give you ideas about what you can pray for.
The pictures are drawn by myself except for the ones with names. Those ones are done by my children.
